Belize has issued new regulations regarding COVID restrictions. Starting March 1 all curfews have been lifted throughout Belize. Visitors to Belize who are vaccinated and can show proof do not have to be tested prior to arriving in Belize or be tested at the airport. Unvaccinated visitors must still show a valid negative test upon entry. Visitors must still purchase Travel Insurance for $18 USD per person, which can be bought online prior to arrival. Additionally, the mask requirement has been lifted so masks no longer need to be worn while outside. Masks are still required inside any enclosed space; shops, restaurants, public transportation etc. and on entering all government buildings.

The waters off shore at the Caye are very shallow and the waterway between the shore and the reef is busy with boat traffic so swimming from the shore to the reef is discouraged. You can however take one of our Kayaks and paddle out near the reef to swim.

There are 2 grocery stores within 2 miles of the Villa, and one of them will deliver if you call in your order. Our onsite Concierge will help you with numbers and setting it up. There is no charge for delivery

All beaches in Belize are open to the public. The Seascape Villa’s beach is open all day and we have a dock for the guests to use.

Fishing is allowed off the dock but not cleaning of fish. It is a great spot for fly fishing and catching small tropical fish

All Villas come fully equipped with full kitchens with all appliances. There is entertainment equipment, large TV’s with cable where you can receive all major US channels. Other amenities like guest soap, towels, linens, etc are also provided

No, it is filtered rainwater and suitable for cleaning and brushing teeth but drinking water is provided by a purified drinking water dispenser which is provided as part of the stay and replenished as needed.

Belize adheres to standard US electrical standards of 110v and all your electronic and electrical appliances will work without adapters or modification.

All international flights to Belize arrive at Philip Goldson international Airport (BZE) and there are 2 options for getting to the Caye: 1 is to take the air shuttle, either Tropic Air or Maya Island Air for the 15-minute hop to San Pedro Airstrip (SPR). You can book your flight to San Pedro along with your ticket to Belize or contact the Concierge to make the arrangements for you. 2, is to take a taxi from the international airport to Belize City and to the Water Taxi where you can book a trip to the island. The trip is by boat and takes about n hour and a half. Be sure to let our Concierge know how plan to get to get o the Caye so we can arrange pickup from either the Water Taxi or the airstrip.

Included with your stay is transportation to and from your arrival point and back to your departure point. Please let us know how and when to expect you so we can make the arrangements to pick up your party.

Yes, there is a ‘Head Tax’ when leaving Belize but it is included in your international ticket.

Belize uses the Belizean dollar which is exchanged freely throughout the country in shops and stores at a rate of 2 Belize dollars for every 1 US dollar. There is no need to exchange currency as you can use US dollars freely and change will be a combination of Belize and US currency at the 2 for 1 rate.

Golf Carts are the transportation of choice on the island and our Concierge can arrange for a rental for your party and have it waiting here at the Villa when you arrive.

Yes, there are many restaurants on the Caye and a multitude of choices between the Villa and town.
